Branch Group Names New Executive Vice President

Brian Quinlan

Brian J. Quinlan has been appointed to serve as executive vice president of Branch Civil, a leader in site and highway construction and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Branch Group. In this new role, Quinlan will be responsible for Branch Civil’s overall financial and operational leadership as well as growing the company through the acquisition and delivery of safe, profitable projects.

Quinlan has 42 years of experience in heavy civil engineering and construction with an emphasis on large infrastructure projects. Prior to joining the Branch Group family of companies, he served as vice president and eastern area manager for Parsons Construction Group.

Some of the key projects on which Quinlan has held leadership roles in his career include $431 million I-64 Southside Widening and High-Rise Bridge Phase 1, Design-Build, Chesapeake, Virginia; $1.4 billion Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal One Redevelopment, Design-Build, Newark, New Jersey; $252 million Anacostia River Combined Sewer Overflow Tunnel, Design-Build, Washington, District of Columbia; $263 million CSX Transportation, Virginia Avenue Tunnel Reconstruction, Progressive Design-Build, Washington, DC; $56 million I-395 HOV Ramp at Seminary Road, Design-Build, Alexandria, Virginia, $71 million I-95 Bridges, Accelerated Bridge Construction, Richmond, Virginia; and $111 million Route 895 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge, PPP, Richmond, Virginia.

Quinlan holds a Master of Business Administration in Business and Management from the University of Maryland – College Park and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).
