A beautiful piece of land nestled in the Shenandoah Valley has been transformed into a haven of rest and recreation for students of James Madison University.
Branch Civil provided site development for the North 38 Apartments in Harrisonburg, VA, an upscale, off-campus living community conveniently located near downtown and the campus of JMU.
Branch Civil partnered with Wood Partners, LLC, for the project. Wood Partners has decades of expertise in developing purpose-built housing for specialized populations such as students and senior citizens.
Work to prepare the site for construction included erosion and sediment control along with significant blasting and site grading. Crews installed water/sewer utilities and storm drainage, along with retaining walls and concrete flat-work. Finish work included asphalt paving, signage and site seeding.
North 38 Apartments have been offering affordable housing for JMU students since 2010.
