Branch Civil is performing site development services for the first building to be erected on the site of the new Wake Tech Community College RTP Campus in Morrisville, NC, which is expected to begin accepting students in 2018.
Working in conjunction with Construction Managers Clancey & Theys and Holt Brothers, Branch Civil is providing site-work including clearing and grubbing of more than 25 acres of timber, blasting of 25,000 cubic yards of rock, and 50,000 cubic yards of excavation to construct a building pad for a classroom/administration building and three parking lots.
When complete, the newest Wake Tech campus will feature 10 instructional buildings on 94 acres and will be able to serve as many as 7,000 students.
